Application Process

Joining the Bishop Ludden-Grimes Junior/Senior High School family comes with immense excitement and pride as students embark on an academic and spiritual journey of fulfillment. Complete the steps below to begin your path as a Bishop Ludden-Grimes student and experience the Bishop Ludden-Grimes difference.

Step 1

Apply to Bishop Ludden-Grimes

Priority consideration for admission and financial aid to Bishop Ludden-Grimes for the 2026-2027 school year, applications should be received by January 1, 2026. Consideration will be given after that date, but availability for financial aid could be affected. Additionally depending on class space students could be placed on a waiting list. Tuition rates for the 2026-2027 school year will be available in coming months.

Step 2

Schedule a Visit

We invite you and your family to visit Bishop Ludden-Grimes’s 26-acre campus. We also encourage you to take a campus tour, meet with our admissions staff, and talk to our students and faculty. We welcome you to our athletic events and performing arts concerts, plays and musical, as well as our wonderful Bishop Ludden-Grimes traditions.

Private Tour

(OPTIONAL) As always, we do offer private tours by appointment. Families can come and explore our campus; meet with administration and teachers; and discover more information about why Bishop Ludden-Grimes is a great place to be!

Knight for a Day

(OPTIONAL) Although Bishop Ludden-Grimes’s classrooms look a bit different this year, students who are currentlyt in grades six and above are encouraged to become a “Knight for a Day” and “shadow” a current Bishop Ludden-Grimes student for the school day. Students will be paired with one of our student guides and attend classes, enjoy lunch and participate in the day’s activities with Ludden-Grimes students. Being a “Knight for a Day” is a wonderful opportunity to experience first-hand the excitement, challenge, and growth that Bishop Ludden-Grimes Junior/Senior High School offers!

Step 3

Interview

Students who choose not to shadow for a day at Bishop Ludden-Grimes will be asked to meet with the Director of Enrollment Management, Principal, and Guidance Counselor for an interview.

Step 4 (OPTIONAL)

Financial Aid

For more information on the financial aid process, including forms and FAQ’s, visit our Financial Aid page. Students must first be accepted to Bishop Ludden-Grimes before applying for financial aid. Please apply for financial aid before February 15th, 2026.

Academic Scholarship Exam

(OPTIONAL) Academic scholarships at Bishop Ludden-Grimes are distributed based on results of the annual scholarship exam. Only students entering 7th-9th grade may take the scholarship exam. The results of the scholarship exam have no effect on admission. The exam is not required and is only for students who wish to be considered for academic scholarships. Scholarship Exams for the 2026-2027 school year will be held November 8, 2025 at 9am. The cost to take the scholarship exam is $30.
